"A Peaceful Lagoon"
"Peaceful Lagoon" is created from mixed media using acrylic and pastels. It was created in 2024 and measures 10" x 16". A tranquil lagoon glows in ethereal shades of blush pink, seafoam green, and sky blue, its still waters perfectly mirroring the twilight sky. The surrounding forest forms a dark emerald embrace with tall, shadowy trees and dense foliage framing the scene like a natural cathedral. Their inky silhouettes amplify the lagoon’s luminous colors, creating a striking contrast between the vibrant water and the deepening wilderness.
On the horizon, the setting sun bleeds into the sky in molten gold and lavender, its fading light casting delicate ripples of reflection across the lagoon’s surface. A hush seems to fall over the landscape.
