"Lazy Afternoon" is created from soft pastel on paper. Two bighorn rams rest on snow-covered rocks, their powerful bodies curled against the alpine chill. Sunlight glints off their massive, spiraled horns, each ridge and groove telling the story of years spent battling for dominance. Their thick winter coats, painted in layers of warm taupe and soft gray, blend with the rocks beneath them, nature’s perfect camouflage.

Both are alert but calm & still, his breath visible in the cold air. The snow around them is patchy and windblown, revealing flecks of stone and frozen earth beneath. The scene is quiet & peaceful, a rare moment of rest for these rugged mountain kings.
